Nice place to stay, excellent views of the mountains. Extra care from the affable and efficient staff. Exceptionally comfortable bed, spotless room, excellent facilities. A wide array of perfect food for meals. Particularly good position in the very quiet area, right by areas of natural beauty in the Lake District, and Lake District.

The location was stunning, with lovely views of the surrounding hills. It was a 10-15 minute walking distance from Lakeland Motor Museum and right by the Lake District. This place had all the facilities I needed in my king room, including an electric kettle, a sofa bed, and central heating, and it was in a good location with spectacular views of the local scenery from the conservatory.

We stayed at Hill Crest for four nights and had an exceptional experience. Jane, the owner, paid attention to every little detail, making our anniversary stay extra special with chocolates and balloons. The breakfast in the conservatory offered a beautiful view, and the homemade treats in our room were a delightful touch. The location was perfect for our weekend activities near the southern lakes and close to the lake-side. We are looking forward to future visits to this high-quality and customer-focused B&B.
